Batana is a raw oil pressed from the kernel of the Elaeis oleifera palm, traditionally used in Honduras. That is where the “Honduran miracle oil” name comes from. Ours is 100% raw with a single ingredient and nothing added. It is rich in Vitamin E, stimulates circulation at the scalp and is used for thicker, fuller, healthier hair. It works for both men and women.
Both are the same clear, bump-preventing gel. Menthol adds a cooling hit and suits most skin; Aloe Vera is the gentler of the two and is the better choice for sensitive or reactive skin, for head shaving, or if you shave every single day.
Our Shaving Gels and Skin Repair Balm are formulated to be gentle and non-irritating, and the Balm is suitable for all skin types on the face, head and body. As with any cosmetic product, check the full ingredients list, published on every product page, and patch test first if you have a known sensitivity.
Aqua is cool, clean and transparent; Fresh is the classic barbershop green and the most versatile of the three. Midnight runs deeper and warmer and takes longer to fade, which makes it the evening one. All three share the same skin-protecting base.
For a shave: Shaving Gel, then rinse, then Skin Repair Balm, then Aftershave Cologne. For beard care: Beard Oil on a clean, dry beard. For hair and scalp: Batana Oil two to three times per week, massaged in and left on.
